call 477-HOME. all the care you need. where you want it most. at home.

pediatrics

When your child is diagnosed with a medical condition, it can be a trying time for you and your family. It can be hard to know where to turn for help. At VNA Homecare, we know this is a difficult time in your life, and we want to help. That’s why we offer comprehensive pediatric care, in your home, where you and your family can be the most comfortable.

We provide pediatric nurses who are experienced in pediatric assessment, treatments, high technology care and community services. Therapists, social workers and home health aides are also part of the treatment team, to ensure your child receives the best possible care.

We offer care for technology-dependent children (those on medical equipment and who rely on such procedures as intravenous therapies and wound care) as well as infants and children at risk due to the following conditions:

  • Asthma
  • Diabetes
  • Failure to thrive
  • Neuromuscular and developmental disabilities
  • Post-surgical concerns
  • Prematurity

VNA Homecare also offers pediatric palliative care for the child with life-threatening or terminal illness, as well as respiratory syncytial virus therapy. All of our services include family-centered instruction in caring for ill children, encouraging each child to participate in his or her care.

If you have a child in need of home care services, please call us at 315-477-HOME or contact us today, and one of our caring, friendly representatives will be happy to assist you.
