vna homecare logoThe VNA Foundation of Central New York, Inc. supports and promotes the provision of pediatric home heath care services to children in Onondaga County; and fosters the education and development of professional and paraprofessional home health care practitioners, ensuring the availability of qualified caregivers into the future.

The VNA Foundation of Central New York, Inc. is the fourth and newest arm to be activated under VNA Homecare’s corporate umbrella, which also includes Independent Health Care Services,Inc., Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York, Inc.,  and affiliate agency, CCH Home Care & Palliative Services, Inc.

VNA Homecare currently has the largest pediatric and maternal child home care programming in Onondaga County. Pediatric programming includes a wide range of care including instruction, supervision and treatment of chronic conditions. The maternal child health program serves pregnant and postpartum women and their newborns; the medically at risk pregnant and postpartum women and includes a Short Stay component for low risk women discharged 24 to 36 hours or less after a regular delivery. VNA Homecare’s pediatric team served nearly 700 patients in the past year alone. The foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization helps enable the organization to enhance their pediatric home care services.
