occupational & physical therapy

Your mobility is an important part of being able to stay in your own home. If you have suffered an accident or stroke, or have had surgery that requires therapy to help you get back on your feet, VNA Homecare can help. We offer the occupational and physical therapy you need to remain independent and safe at home.

If you’re in need of physical or occupational therapy, VNA Homecare can provide you with highly trained professionals who will work with you to achieve your goals. Regarding physical therapy, you’ll be provided with general therapeutic exercises for ortho/neuromuscular development and improvement in balance, gait and transfers. Therapists teach family members to assist in exercises, and offer guidance in obtaining and using appropriate adaptive equipment.

And, for patients with an injury or illness affecting perceptual motor skills or the ability to perform activities of daily living such as dressing, eating or cooking, VNA Homecare offers occupational therapy. Services include evaluation, adaptive equipment recommendations, therapeutic exercises and appropriate training.

To learn more about how VNA Homecare can assist you, please call us at 315-477-HOME or contact us today, and one of our caring, friendly representatives will be happy to help.
