mission & history

vna homecare logo

In 2011, VNA Homecare was envisioned as a way of bringing all the services provided by CCH Home Care & Palliative Services, Inc., the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York, Inc., and Independent Health Care Services, Inc. all together under one umbrella. VNA Homecare provides comprehensive, cohesive home care for all stages of life – from prenatal care to care for young families to rehabilitation, long-term and end-of-life care.

It is the mission of VNA Homecare to provide quality health care and related services in a timely and cost effective manner to individuals, families and organizations.

The VNA Homecare goal of maintaining, restoring and promoting the health and independence of those we serve is achieved by utilizing our agency and community resources, by working collaboratively, and by providing the proper environment for development and retention of a caring, competent staff.
