Independent@Home provides non-medical services designed to meet individual requests for assistance to those throughout Central New York.
Non-medical services include, but are not limited to:
- Accompaniment to social outings and/or medical appointments
- Assistance with bill paying and health insurance claims
- Care management – referral to community resources
- Clutter control
- Communication with family
- Companionship
- Crafts and recreation
- Emergency response systems
- Handyman service and chore assistance – indoor and outdoor
- Household management
- Housekeeping, laundry and linen change
- Incidental transportation
- Mail and prescription management
- Meal preparation
- Relocation assistance
- Salon services – hairdressing, manicures & pedicures
- Shopping and/or errands
- “Snow Bird” services – packing and unpacking
- Tele-wellness monitoring of vital signs
- TLC telephone calls
With a strong focus on meeting our client’s needs and tailoring services accordingly, we provide a free in-home assessment and consultation prior to initiating any services. Pricing of services is creative and flexible, with a combination of fee-for-service, per visit charge and monthly retainers as options.
