If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with diabetes, it can be a confusing time. How do you test your glucose levels? What medications will you need to take, either by mouth or by injection? And what is the best diet to follow?
There’s no need to worry – at VNA Homecare, we provide comprehensive diabetes education, to help you learn how to best manage your condition and enjoy optimal health.
VNA Homecare’s staff has received specialized education in diabetes management. They’ll provide you with an enhanced education program to promote self-care and adherence to medication and dietary needs. You’ll receive instruction in the diabetes disease process, blood glucose self-monitoring, foot and eye care, exercise, diet, hyperglycemia/hypoglycemia, medications and other appropriate intervention.
